Josh Brown

We are proud that Josh Brown from our Grand Forks office, Thompson-Schaefer Insurance was selected to be featured in an article in the Grand Forks Herald recently as a community leader.  He was a fabulous addition to the staff a few years ago and exhibits professionalism and caring to everyone he works with.    Here is a summary of the article that appeared in the paper:

Josh’s  family has roots as business owners in Grand Forks dating back to the early 1900s.  Josh   is fortunate to have most of his family continue to reside in the area.  After graduating from Red River High School in 2002, he attended MSU Mankato, where he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business administration.  It was there that he also met his lovely wife, Lindsey.

After graduation, Josh began working as an insurance agency in Bloomington, MN until recruited back to Grand Forks for a local company, Thompson-Schaefer Insurance.  At that point, he, his wife, and their son, Stetsen, were thrilled to have the opportunity to be closer to “home” as their family grew with the birth of daughter, Lilly, just five months later.

Josh knew this was going to be a permanent move for them, so he jumped right into the community.  He quickly dove in and began taking leadership roles within and around the community.  As a result of his community involvement, opportunities and doors have been opened.  He has also continued another one of his passions:  officiating hockey, which he’s been doing for the past 18 years.

Josh, Lindsey, Stetson and Lilly love being able to take advantage of all of the things the community has to offer.  Without any hesitation, they agreed that it was the best decision they’ve made.
